Be familiar with the operating instructions:
Before operating a manual switch valve, you should carefully read the valve operating instructions to understand the valve's structure, working principle, operating methods, and possible risks.
Check the valve status:
Confirm that the connections of the various parts of the valve body are tight and not loose, and the connection between the valve and the pipeline is also tight and not loose, to prevent leakage or accidents caused by loose connections. Check whether the valve opening and closing signs are clear to ensure correct operation.
Select the operating mode correctly:
Select "Open", "Close" or "Automatic" mode as needed. In the "Automatic" mode, make sure that all necessary remote control accessories have been correctly installed and connected.
Pay attention to the operating sequence and strength:
When operating the valve, it should be opened and closed slowly, and the force should be applied evenly. Avoid using impact force to open and close the valve to prevent damage to the valve or pressure shock that damages the pipe fittings. When closing or opening to the top dead center or bottom dead center, depending on the valve type (such as gate valve, stop valve), it may be necessary to turn a certain number of turns (such as 1/4~1/2 turn) to make the thread fit better.
Operation under high pressure conditions:
Although the valve can be opened and closed quickly and easily under high pressure conditions, it is still necessary to be cautious when operating to avoid injuries caused by sudden release of high-pressure fluid. When operating under high pressure, appropriate protective equipment such as protective glasses and gloves should be worn.
Prevent accidental start-up:
During non-operation, ensure that the valve is in a locked or safe position to prevent accidental start-up.
Pay attention to the flow direction of the medium:
Before operation, the flow direction of the gas should be clear to ensure that the operation meets the process requirements.
Monitoring and inspection:
During operation, the operating status of the valve and the flow of the medium should be closely monitored. After the operation is completed, check whether the valve is in the correct position, ensure that the medium flows smoothly, and check whether the connections of the valve body are firm and leak-free.
Maintenance and care:
Clean and lubricate the valve regularly to keep the valve surface clean and flexible. Regularly check the sealing performance and operating mechanism of the valve. If there is any wear or damage, repair or replace it in time.
Comply with safety regulations:
During operation, strictly abide by safety production regulations and operating procedures to ensure personal and equipment safety. In case of emergency or abnormal situation (such as opening without movement, hand wheel idling, etc.), stop operation immediately and report to relevant personnel.
