1. Pressure sensor and controller
The automatic control function of the pressure relief valve starts with the pressure sensor. The pressure sensor installed in the irrigation system monitors the water pressure in the pipeline in real time. When the system water pressure reaches or exceeds the preset safety pressure value, the pressure sensor will send a signal to the controller to indicate that the system is over-pressured.
The controller controls the opening and closing action of the pressure relief valve based on the feedback data from the sensor.
2. Solenoid valve and pressure relief valve linkage
The pressure relief valve is usually linked with the solenoid valve, which is used to control the opening and closing state of the valve. The controller automatically controls the opening and closing of the solenoid valve according to the signal of the pressure sensor, thereby controlling the working state of the pressure relief valve. When the water pressure is too high, the controller sends an opening signal to the solenoid valve, the solenoid valve opens, and the pressure relief valve automatically opens to discharge the excess water pressure. When the water pressure returns to the normal range, the controller closes the solenoid valve and the pressure relief valve closes accordingly.
3. Set pressure threshold
In the irrigation system, the working pressure of the pressure relief valve will have a set threshold. The normal working pressure range of the system is set within a safe value. When the pressure exceeds this upper limit, the pressure relief valve starts to work and releases excess pressure; when the system pressure is lower than the set lower limit, the valve will automatically close to maintain normal working pressure.
4. Automation and remote control
Through wireless communication or wired network, the controller is connected to the user's management platform. Users can view the working status of the system in real time through mobile phones, computers and other devices, monitor pressure changes, and remotely control the pressure relief valve.
5. Data recording and alarm
If an abnormal situation occurs (such as too high or too low system pressure), the control system will automatically alarm and push the fault information to the management personnel via SMS, email or App for timely processing.
6. Integrated automatic adjustment function
In different irrigation cycles or irrigation areas, the pressure relief valve automatically adjusts the opening according to different needs to ensure that the water pressure is within the appropriate range and improve irrigation efficiency.
